For the reality of the country there are ok/decent trails and views where you can, if you're not a brainlet, get away with camping. As for bushcraft forget about that or buy private land. I hope you like shitty eucalyptus, because that's what you'll find tho.
If you like the ocean it's great but otherwise it's rather poor here. Spain on other hand is beautiful, has much more native trees, higher mountains and longer trails.
