>What is going to be your next trip?Next proper hiking trip will be on the MKT/Katy trail hiking from Jeff City westbound for a 2 or 3 day weekend trip as far as I can hike but hopefully back to my hometown for a free ride back home. Mostly once the weather turns at the tail end of March is when I plan to go.
>Bucket list shitAppalachian Trail of course and while I was a Boy Scout I eagled out before I ever had the chance to go to Philmont and If I ever have the opportunity to go or if I ever have a son take him hiking to Philmont sounds fucking cool.

>Gear Suggestions?I like woobies and a lot of people do for a reason. I have two old school mil surp jungle woobies from the M81 camo era and I love them for extra layers and they are surprisingly warm and water repellent considering the weight.
>Gear you're in the market for?I finally got all my shit together to do hammock camping after having awful sleep last summer in my tent and all I really need is a cottage vendor hammock underquilt which I will save up for. As for right now I have a lighter snugpack hammock underblanket I plan to use for this season and as a layer for when I get a proper underquilt.
Wildlife:
>Being Bear AwareWe have Black Bears here but they run at the first sign of noise.
>miscI cant wait for spring to turn. Since I have not taken out my hammock setup yet I am taking it out to my Opa's to test it out and to help him split firewood since his age is catching up to him even though he is too stubborn to admit it plus I could use the workout anyway.
