Maybe with constant effort, moving the bowl to warm areas, fanning the top to keep the cover cool, positioning the rock, refilling the salt water, etc but then you're losing even more sweat in the process and not putting that energy toward shelter/food/rescue. With no large volume freshwater sources on a desert island I think dying of dehydration is inevitable.
