If you're going on a 1 week backpacking trip, don't bother and use a power bank instead. It will be lighter, more reliable, and less of a pain to use.
If you're setting up a car camp in the desert, then yeah it may be worth getting a solar panel.
But since you're talking about a phone charger, i'm assuming you're doing a backpacking thing.
Remember walking in a wooded won't generate much power; and alternating between wooded/shaded areas might actually drain power since your phone keeps thinking it is being plugged in/unplugged, and some phones will turn on the screen each time to notify you.
Not to mention the angle you have your solar panel strapped to your backpack will rarely be optimal while hiking.
