Slept on patches of dirt that we cleared with flashlight. 1 shower period for the most part. Crawled through mud and ran to rocks for cover. Also, camped, and hiked when not playing weekend hero. Did multiple 10 milers in the mountains. Never got bit by nothing. Come on /out/ to look for RV thread, and all I see are tick posters. Just use deet on you clothes- especially your boots and pants. You wont get bit. Unless I've been really lucky.
