The land and access to it is great, countless places to fuck off within an hour of Albuquerque and not have to bother with permits/etc. The problem is the people. Nearly everyone here fucking sucks for one reason of another; the mexicans are violent impoverished retards that will kill each other over $40 at a high school party, the Indians are dirt poor drunks/druggies that nobody in their right mind should have anything to do with, and the whites are all transplants from places that they ruined by voting for every tax and new law that comes around because that "makes things better!" If you move here and you don't have a graduate STEM degree or are some other form of credentialed professional, don't, you'll never make jack shit.
