I rarely do any actual cooking when I'm out. Unless I'm having a proper luxuary camp then it's usally close enough from home to bring a cast iron pan.
Otherwise the closest thing I get to cooking to boiling water to rehydrate something or make a hot drink. I've been using this setup for a while now. Light, small, and does the job. I prefer alcohol over gas as I can carry exactly the right amount of fuel and fuel is really easy to buy.
