>>318835Hey there! I was just thinking of coming out /out/ to ask anyone about bow-hunting, this is good timing!
So, I put a bike up for sale on craigslist. Long story short, this guy is offering to trade his bow for my bike. I have tendonitis in my left shoulder, so I probably won't be able to use it, really, it's more for if/when. In the meantime, my mate can use it. (Who knows, with how much strength I've lost in my arm, I might be able to get a permit for a crossbow.)
It's a Browning Nomad Stalker 1. He says he's also going to give me his quiver, and 6 cedar arrows. He says there is no damage the bow except for a few scratches, sent me a pic and it looks good. He also says he just replaced the string on it.
Pic related, it looks like that one.
Now what?
Do you think it's a good bow/have any experience?
Any questions I should ask when I get there?
Do you know where I can find detailed information about this bow, or any good bow-related websites? (I doubt it will come in it's original packaging, but some google searches have revealed people seem to think it's a good bow.)
Obviously I need to go to hunter education classes... He says that we can exchange the bike and the bow in 2 hours or so.
