Louisiana would be much higher if water was included. The Atchafalaya Basin is the largest swamp in the US, and I think it’s 500,000 acres public. And it’s not exactly accessible… it’s a swamp. But like, people think that means it’s all like pic, but there’s land as well. You can’t exactly hike across the entire area, but it’s home to deer and bears and people, and they don’t just swim everywhere.
