>>204135also some completely unrelated stuff has been stopping me be able to get into project firefighting, literally would be doing it now if it wasnt for bad luck with these things (even found out i had the job.. its complicated) BUT the reason im telling you this is that im lined up to do a geology degree starting next year. im doing it as a kind of back up and ill still apply for the job ive been trying to get when the applications open. itll just depend how well im doing in geology as to weather i continue or take the fire job. im not amazing with maths but im great with every other aspect.
Other options i considered- trades (great with my hands, smarter than most tradies, good money)
-also i could always do a 2 year post grad degree and be a high school teacher. but after watching walter white go down that path i dooont know....
