>>1269432This has been more my experience in these areas. I'm in VT, and I've only ever seen squirrels and birds. I've seen the occasional snake, and a fuck ton of newts, but aside from them nothing. There was this one time I received a warning by some fellow hikers that there was a bear ahead, but I never saw it when I went through. In fact, the only time I ever saw any bears or meese it was on the road.
