Hitch hiking stories.
I only have 2 worth telling
>be me 23 at the time and own a old van. Just had left big sur and was making my way to Yosemite when I saw a hot girl hitch hiking in Santa Cruz. Of course I pull over and ask her where she’s going and return she asked where am I going. Told her I’m heading to Yosemite for a week and she says she’ll join me. Turns out she’s backpacking alone which is nuts since she was pretty good lucking. So on our way we had gotten to know each other better so now we feel like old friends. Once at Yosemite we set up a campfire and have ourselves some food and beer. End of the night we bang it out. It was great for that whole week we just drove around to different trails and banged at different campsites. Once I left back home ahe stayed there said she was going to try to hitch to San Francisco or Boise. Stayed in touch for a bit then just lost complete connection with her.
>second experience
>picked up hitch hiker in kern county and she joined me for a weekender at Joshua tree. Same thing we drank beer had fun and banged it out as much as we could. And then ended up dropping her off in Los Angeles on my way back home.
I feel like i haven’t seen as any hitch hiker chicks like I used too, and hardly ever even see a guy hitching now.
It’s been 4 years since the last time I picked up a hitch hiker because I got a girlfriend and married her.
Do miss the characters you would meet on the road though
Has anyone had a similar experience? Either hitching a ride or picking up a hitch hiker?
