I have a 77 San Juan 21 that needs a good bit of work. I've never said before and this is also my first boat. I haven't taken it out in a few years because it needs a lot of work and I've never sailed and have no clue how to get the rigging together. It was a lot of fun with just the outboard though.
The wood cores on the deck and transom are completely rotted out. Keel case is missing the meshes at the bottom and it knocks around a good bit in the trunk in the water. I'm not sure if it's worth messing around doing because even if I get all that together I really have no clue how to rig it. Is there a way to learn to run the rigging right? I would go to a sailing club but there are none in my area.
