I'm looking for a new sled, I own an old alpine that served me well on my land for skidding trees and openning trail but it's not very reliable anymore and I'm not the greatest mecanics.
I'm looking for something more fun but still able to do light work if it's needed. 90% of the time off trail.
I have two offer:
VK540 2011 in stellar condition, I like the big, wide track but it seem heavy and unbalanced, seem strong though with a low gear and really simple KISS mechanics.
Tundra lt 550f 2013 in good condition but show some wear, was used in a ski resort. It's light and looks fun to ride with but it's inner scare me, can't barely reach spark plugs in this mess... and electronic reverse mean I need a working battery for a reverse.
Also, I'm quebecer so this machine gotta works in deep powder and alaskan cold.
Which one would you choose and why?
