>>554605Go find / order you some CJ's catfish punch bait.
Use a slip sinker rig as seen here:
http://cdn.catfishedge.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Slip-Sinker-Catfish-Rig.jpgUse either a #4 or #6 treble hook on the end of your line, poke the hook into the punch bait with a stick, push it all the way to the bottom of the tub, then pull the hook out of the bait at an angle, try to get just enough bait on the hook that it completely covers the hook but not so much that it's got big gobs hanging off either above/below the hook. If there are channel catfish in the water and they are biting then you will catch them.
I've used CJ's side by side with Danny King's bait, Team Catfish's bait, Little Stinker bait, several other dip/blood/punch baits, worms, cut bait, frozen shad, a live crawdad, frozen shrimp, hot dog pieces, cubes of cheese, etc. and CJ's has consistently out-performed everything else that's been used with it. My fishing buddy and I caught 37 channel & blue cats in under 3 hours a couple weeks ago including a couple 405 pounders using CJ's, and it's not unusual for us to catch 20-30 legal fish between the two of us in an afternoon/evening of fishing.
