>>2567516A general i wish i had found earlier.
My general go-to is Rattray's Craggy Root (
https://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/Rattrays/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=291944), but i opt for a smaller pipe i bought in an Estonian antique store when i smoke while fishing or panning gold. Also have a churchwarden, but smoked it too hot and ruined the tenon (was cheap as shit, so should probably have expected it), will probably get another one sometime.
But answer me this; how come literally no major pipe manufacturer has made wooden stems for a thousand moons? The only place i've found them is on Etsy. I get that vulcanite/acrylic stems are easier to clean, more durable and so on, but is there no widespread appeal/demand for entirely wooden pipes?
