Surfing is my /out time. The ocean can be incredibly harsh and unforgiving, but its also an amazing place where you can encounter dolphins, turtles, fish and see some amazing beaches.
Surfing itself is also super fun, once you get better you can carve figure eights in the wall of the wave or jump on the foam on the peak of a wave and "grind" over it and free fall through the air to land in the wave again and continue riding it.
Barrels are addicting. Be warned.
