Hello /out/ from another corner of 4chan, I really think things are going to get shitty soon. I’ve spent quite a lot of time outside in recent months trying to gain some experience, and I’m beginning to realize surviving without modern amenities isn’t fun and would actually suck. I can romanticize things all I want, but I’d probably die, especially with Minnesota’s climate. What are some things that I should get and fields I can get experienced in to prepare for the big one? I have to support a family of 4 who have little to no outdoors experience who believe things will always be fine. I have $1400 to spend.
