>>1328372It'll be a few months before I get any substantial results. The heat here in Florida had been roasting my weaker seedlings, so I've started to bring at least one of each indoors to start them to ensure they survive. The rest I leave outside, I figure any that survive in this 95f+ 60%+ humidity will be hardy as hell.
I haven't started recording anything yet, but so far the NuMex Suave variety is extremely sensitive to overheating and drying out in its seedling stage, I lost at least 5 of them to the sun while I was at work.
I've got some Marconi peppers, a purple version of them. Once their radicles emerged I transplanted them from their germinating medium to a cup and soil, this was at least two weeks ago. They've yet to grow upwards, still sitting in the dirt. I can see their root sticking out, it's thick green and healthy so from this I'm going to assume that the Marconi variety takes a while to emerge.
>>1328375Yep, I topped a maturish very healthy banana pepper this year and it died. Wouldn't recommend. I have a Bhut Jolokia that I've topped and last I checked it's looking happy. I'll look in a few.
