I'll throw in my two cents for the few places I've been in Colorado, I admit I don't get out as much as I'd like. Great Sand Dunes National Park is really neat, my favorite place in the state so far, Black Canyon of the Gunnison was cool too. RMNP was fairly underwhelming, nothing really stood out to me vs any other mountains in the area, I see vistas just as good driving down I70 or at a ski resort, and it was too crowded. I've heard good things about the San Juan Mountains, very nice and low crowds, haven't been though.
Furthest I've ventured into Utah was Arches and Canyonlands, both were great, and not crowded because I went in January on a day where it wasn't even 10 degrees out.
But the most majestic place I've been I'd have to say is Kauai. Maybe because it was just so different from what I'm used to but it was spectacular. I wish I'd have taken one of the cruises too to see the napali coast from sea level instead of from up top on the hiking trails but I had a tight budget. Also disappointed that the Kalalau trail was closed due to landslides. Surprisingly also the crowds weren't bad, did few hikes that ended in a lookout and had the lookouts to myself a couple times. Even a couple nice beaches weren't crowded at all
