I find that work wear usually fits the bill. It is generally available in the colours you are after and isn't wildly expensive.
I use cammo pack and webbing but wear tan/coyote coloured clothes. The pack and webbing are very durable being made from heavier fabric than the usual hiking pack and offer lots of load carrying options. Wearing cammo clothes does attract too much attention though.

So anyway, in response to OP, try hiking very popular trails and hanging out at very popular trail heads with obvious outistic tendencies. You'll eventually find the outist you are looking for.
If that's what you are into of course, most outists aren't into the travelling hordes thing.

If that was degrees f, hammock would get your flabby arse off the ground but would need trees... a sleep mat on a layer of leaves under a tarp would work in the coldest conditions, but I'm no expert. Daytime temperatures rarely drop below 20 degrees C here, rain is a bit of a non-event. Here's laughing at you kid.

just happened to be looking at the site when I came back to this thread anon, I have one of their insulated bottles that I use on the trail for keeping a hot brew on my pouch. My wife bought it for me for a birthday present and I was just looking at the larger sizes. The small one four hundred and something millilitres is just right for a cuppa. I was in Broome a couple of weeks ago and it kept iced coffee cold til lunchtime. Can recommend, not even shilling

Other shit you can try is capsicum and eggplant, they are hardy as fuck. Good old tomatoes do well in the fuck off heat. Water is key and building carbon content in the soil helps retain moisture and nutrients.
Don't put all your time and effort into building fucking garden beds and shit. Chuck the rooster booster on about a bag to the square metre and turn the soil over to get the shit through the top 100mm or so. Don't bury the manure too deep or it will be lost.
You may want to consider a green manure crop or legume crop first to get things moving and improve soil microbial activity. What area are you in cunt?

I think you are onto something with the uphill thing. There was lots of up and down in my walk and I think it was the cause of the sore muscles. I have made the decision that I'm on /out/ too much instead of being /out/. Also, I was wearing some boots that I hadn't worn in a long while that gave very good ankle support so it may have worked upper legs more than usual.
Anyways, I just wanted to let you know it's probably no biggy and you should continue enjoying the great /out/doors... see you out there anon.
