The cheapest freshwater fish goes from 10 euros/kg in my region, catching your own will save you tons of money over time, fish provides fats and protein with some calcium as well, if you're camping somewhere near a river or lake it would be beyond retarded to not give fishing a try and fishing equipment is cheap as shit if you know where to look.
