>>882841 The little inlets will probably have shallow spots that drop off real quick to deep spots so if there is some vegetation in the shallow areas or cover for smaller fish, you will want to cast just on the deeper side of that. Predator fish, especially bass, will come out of the deeper water at dawn and dusk and lurk right near the dropoffs or the edge of whatever cover there is and wait for a random meal to pop out into open water.
I really need to get some sleep today but damn do I want to go play with this mini chatterbait and see if I can hit a snek. I haven't gotten a snek in a couple months (mostly because I haven't been at snekey leks). I can't seem to figure out their feeding patterns either, it seems like the best days have been really warm and fishing earlier in the afternoon but I have caught a few after sunset too.
