For every type of bait, I have my favorites. If I'm running a stick bait like that, I really like the gold X-Raps and will run those 80% of the time. If I want to run an inline spinner, Mepps Agila with a gold or silver blade and natural brown skirt is my first choice.
Plus with the weather down here, I am so limited as to when the fish will actually go for hardbaits anyway. From April to November I have to run Texas rigged soft baits if I want to catch any bass except for like a 20min window at dusk when I can run a jerkbait and occaisionally get a hungry bass.
