Of those you mentioned, I have a couple Macs. They are thick, warm and soft, but not as tight weave as my twice-the-price HB. I have a Woolrich Morning Star that is about 10 years old that is nice and thin but very tight weave and you can't get them anymore.
Alfalfafloss I don't know about. If you're going to go deluxe and get a single blanket for the rest of your life, I would get a HB 4 point. If you want a bargain blanket to thrash in the mud and campfires, go to the thrift stores or army surplus sites. If you want my advice, I'd get a MacAusland or two, and use one on your bed, and the other for camping.
I like a thick blanket for under my sleep system in the winter, but a thin blanket for over top during the summer. It's better at tucking into the cracks and open spaces that cold air creeps in.
