>>1031130>Should I try and make it soon since the fish seem to be active?Yes, if the weather cooperates for you. Now is the time especially for lake trout on light tackle, or pre spawn smallmouth. Just a week or two left for those, but panfish (pumpkinseed, perch, rockbass) and LMB should be hot through June. Maybe the most important reason to fish now though is that high season for tourists is going to start in a few weeks and this lake will be an absolute madhouse with speedboats, jet skiis, cruises, etc. For now though it's pretty quiet.
