I've always camped growing up and now that I'm older (20) and no longer camp every summer with my parents like I used to, I'm looking into buying a tent for summer car camping/maybe the odd casual backpacking trip for me/my girlfriend/her dog. After a decent bit of research I'm pretty interested in the Nemo Galaxi 3P, as I feel that it could probably be a decent hybrid between just setting up on a campsite or being split up with her so the 6lb6oz load wouldn't be so rough on whatever hike we would do with it. Does anyone have any experience with this tent? Although we're two people + pupper, I was looking more towards a 3 person tent for more relative comfort, as this would likely be primarily for car camping, where the weight isn't a big deal.
