I like to make mine in a bracket shape, with the sides folded in. Keep the "door" 2-3ft wide, just wide enough to get in without knocking the whole thing over. Line the roof with a space blanket and cover the floor in pine boughs, and you've got a cozy shelter without needing a fire. Spent many a cold Northern Minnesota night in them as a boy scout.
