First of the main concern with those tyle of filters that letting them freeze while they're wet damages the fibers. Mini is smaller thus fits your pockets better, bodyheat preventing freezing out. Mini is cheaper and almost twice as light so you can carry dry backup. Squeeze is faster and you can buy it with faucet attachement, making it better for bugging in, while mini not only comes with a straw (turning it into lifestraw essentially) but also integrates into any camelbak system.
I do have adequate first aid kit comlimentary with shears and meds, as pictured. It's just not unpacked
