Both admit that the coming revolution will involve backing down the bourgeoisie ladder of "progress" in favour of a more holistic, stable, and long-term success. An intellectual revolution is ultimate goal for both, one that leads to widespread self-awareness among individuals and communities. While Kaczynski and Marx differ heavily when it comes to goals, their ideologies are absolutely compatible insofar as both understand the industrial revolution has been an irreversible mistake that we cannot fix but one that we can learn from and move past to greater futures
