>>1966088Despite being situated in Buttfuck Nowhere, my hometown doesn't allow keeping livestock. Even small animals like rabbits, chickens, and quail aren't kosher for some reason. I'm considering raising guinea pigs and pigeons instead since they're not considered livestock by the city, and I was wondering if anyone here has any experience raising them. My current concern is that I don't have access to the big South American meat guinea pigs, so I'll have to try and breed good eaters from pet breeds, but I figure that shouldn't take more than a decade given how quickly they breed and I've got nothing but time on my hands.
