You can minimize the damage caused to a soft plastic using superglue or small zip ties but tearing around the hooks exit point will still occur. Pic is my soft plastic box, I cut out one divider from a trout magnet box so accommodate these little rat tails without storing them bent and took off the label with lighter fluid. incidentally, are the hinges in these boxes lubricated because they tightened up and started squeaking after I used the fluid to break up the sticker.
