Here is the plum. It is a bare root I got from some online orchard early last season. It is the fastest growing tree I have and went from a sad little four foot tall stick to 8 feet tall and still going. It did have a small "sore" like this last year at a crotch between two branches but nothing severe. It blossomed and fruited heavily this year, but due to an Indian summer and an April cold snap everything fell off... ultimately not that big a deal at this point in its life cycle.
I treat my fruit trees with immunox and have been doing so regularly due to a bad powdery mildew problem with my apple trees (despite them supposedly being resistant...) but these trees are very far apart and until very recently showed no issues with disease and other than this look great.
