Here's a question... well statement followed by a question.
I hate half serrated knives. I figure that if you cut so much rope and stuff that you need a serrated knife, get one solely designed for that purpose. Otherwise a plain edge will do fine and a half serrated blade will only screw with your day, more than not.
I suppose that's kind of irrelevant to my question as I don't care about this knife itself, just the serrations, but anyway, this knife by Maxpedition claims "field maintainable" serrations. Does that mean you can sharpen it on a stone. It looks interesting anyway, maybe it would be something to look at making a full serrated knife with. Does anyone have any experience with an edge like this?
