Supposed to be an Electrician's knife
for chopping through cable or for breaking putty from windows.
Looks like the old English Hacking Knife, but a much thinner blade.
Thin enough to actually function as a knife.
Still sturdy enough for opening paint cans, prying bent nails out of lumber etc.
Unspecified stainless, but ran it over an 80 grit diamond, then finished with a 400 grit diamond and the edge has held up, even when batoned through a few sections of power-cord.
A quick PVC pipe sheath, and
makes a decent /out/ knife as far as I'm concerned.
Worth picking one up for the toolbox and the car too.
