Haven't really played with the white ones. I still think they are trying to get rid of those Bionics eventually and have the white Carbonlite be the $80-$100 rod because they came out with that Johnny Morris Titanium 8 at $140 (reel is $140 too, combo like ~$250) which is between the JM Carbonlite and JM Signature(?) as far as that line goes.
They had that JM Titanium combo on sale with Black Friday and it looked really nice. I think it was only $20 off or some shit. That new JM USA made rod looks dank too. I'm guessing that combo competes with some real high end Shimano or Abu stuff.
Idk about spending that money on a Bass Pro reel tho. Reason why I like Abu and other major brands is because they have been building this stuff forever and will be around. So if my $40 Abu reel or $160 Abu reel breaks in 5 years, I know I can still get replacement parts if I want to.
