OP, you should release him ASAP a few miles from your home. They're wild animals and don't like being kept. However if you don't think they'll survive for some reason then I recommend you give it some place to hid like a empty cardboard tube of toilet paper or torn up newspaper. If they can't hide then they'll end up dieing trying to run away. And release it as soon as you think he'll live in the /out/doors.
