As an experiment I am trying bucket tomatoes this year. What I've noticed so far is the tomato plants in a bucket are much smaller and compact
with short nodes requiring no pruning compared to in ground plants yet the tomatoes are more than twice as large. Maybe some plant fag could explain why this is seems like more energy is going to the fruit rather than growing more plant
