The ones I listed are: £105 for the bison bushcraft shirt, 110€ for the blanket hoody, 190€ for the light jacket, ~300€ for heavier jackets, 150€ for trousers. Varusteleka uses small batches of leftover fabric and has very simple construction, which is how they can go so low. I for one suspect that fabric suffers from a similar problem as the garments: Low demand, high status, higher price because customers are willing to pay. And they are often made of expensive merino, rather than cheap european or american wool. (I know of ones that are, but they cost *extra* because obviously they're so durable and original, right). Some examples:
-german loden 400g/m2, austrian wool, normal price: 50€/m
-same loden, leftover batch: 25€/m
-mongolian wool, 540g/m2, normal price: 16€/m2
Line the latter with just a little bit of merino in the right places, and it won't scratch either. The entire market is horribly inefficient.
