>>2292792It's good that you're happy with them but they're still pretty lousy boots with a bunch of clearly visible weak points and low quality overall. If it's comfort you're looking for then you might as well wear a hiking shoe or even trail runners because your boot doesn't have the stiffness to support and protect your ankle in any case and are even more dangerous than a shoe because they'll give you a false sense of security.
Looking at their website they also sell a real hiking boot (picrel) as their "top of the line backpacking boot" and it's manufactured in Germany rather than Slovakia. It still features some questionable design choices so wouldn't recommend it, but you can visibly see the difference to your boot. Your boot is half the price and they explicitly have the other boot under the "Backpacking" and "Mountain Hunting" categories rather than the "Task Force - Tactical" meme category as is the case with your boot. In contrast to the other boot, they didn't even bother to put a Vibram sole or Nubuck upper on your boot so obviously not even they think it's worth spending money on it...
