>>1641826>>1641828This unironically. Go find a Red Cross STOP THE BLEED class at minimum. They’re everywhere and free. Purchase the interventions you learned to use and take a “wilderness first aid” class. Those are also pretty easy to find at your local outfitter/ranger station. They’ll teach you the basics of staying comfortable in whatever environment you’re going /out/ in, while the STOP THE BLEED will cover the worst day of your life* so far.
If you’re serious about taking your med knowledge to a respectable level and keeping current, volunteer for your local FD and take as many classes as they recommend.
You don’t HAVE to do what I do but you do have to get some basics.
