My colleague and I recently purchased a Halcyon 23. It's my first boat, and i've no real prior sailing experience. She's a fixer-upper for sure. We at least need to fix the seacocks and re-apply the antifouling in the next few weeks (before she is due to be put back in the water).
After that, I've gotta go aloft to check how dire the rigging is up there.
We're mainly going to be sailing around the south of England (we're based in/near Southampton and Portsmouth). If anyone else is down here and fancies crewing up at any point, let me know. It'll be fun.
