AFAIK /k/ generally dislikes them for not being tacticool and obsesses over utterly useless one-fuction fragile heavy collectors/display blades, but for the true outdoorsman is there anything that comes close?
I've used pic related for years on numerous long hiking expeditions and it's never let me down. Been to hell and back and still works like new. Just wish it came in classic red or another high-visibility colour to keep me from ever losing it.
