oh m8 I've done both over the years and was not the least bit surprised to find the Feuerhand was a million times better. that lantern you'll cherish forever and it will not let you down. the other shit is pure counterfeit and works out the box only half the time and if you're lucky it starts failing and wasting oil and $$ very quickly.

Feuerhand or Dietz when it comes to oil lanterns.

not him but candle lanterns are superior /out/ for a number of reasons. cheap, dry, lightweight, also candles burn just fine in searing hot weather as well as frigid sub-freezing weather. oil doesn't, gay doesn't. alcohol is shit to carry and manage, and is 0% comfy. candle lanterns are underrated afimo
