>>2480845>Fucking pardon me?its mind boggling. the girl who found her on rainier can't see any way the cats would get where she found them without being placed there by a human. and she said she thinks it would have to have been not long before she came across them. the way she told the story, i can't disagree.
her theory was weirdo cult shit... i've heard locals tell me weirdo cult shit goes on around rainier before and after.. never seen anything like that myself though. could just be standard pnw samsquach superstition.
>Also did you ever contact that Chinese family about finding their missing cat?yeah man. the cat was microchipped to the hiker who originally found the cats (she still has the brother!!!) and it wasn't weird calling her up because my ex girlfriend recognized the number and it happened to be some old friend of hers. she put me in contact with the family in china, and they all speak pretty good english from living here.
man they were in shock. it took them a second to even process what i was saying over the phone at first, then i heard the call get put on speaker phone as the guy i'm talking to runs around the house telling everyone the news. i could tell they cared a lot about her, and never expected she would be alive after all these years. after they calmed down i offered to arrange something with the cat, but we eventually agreed that neither party wanted to risk anything happening to her, we're just glad she's safe right now, and she would make a good kitty for my mom (who's kitty had just passed away from age.) i was also shocked by how far away they lived from where i found her. like 2-3 miles bird's eye but more like 7 any way one could travel.
when i found her she was a truly feral cat. had to isolate her from my other pets for years, and she would attack anyone or anything that came near her. i don't know what kind of magic my mom pulled off, but i left the cat with her for a few years and she's a total angel lap cat now.
