How's the spinner collection going? I've just recently got into fishing and I'm going for trout, they are small on this part of the Deschutes. Today I replaced all the trebles with siwash and added o ring, on some of them I added a barrel swivel to get extra crazy. Mostly I was tired of getting snagged so much and I don't want to hurt the smaller fishes I can't keep. I'm trying to learn on spinners so I want to know what I might be missing? I have caught most the fish in my life on old lures/spoons on a coastal lake.
I would probably use bait if worms were allowed, but not in rivers. I got some powerbait too but I'm sure everyone else is using that
