>>1293914Do you top your plants? Also, if you pick flowers/buds off early, you'll help your plant stay in veg mode longer and it'll get bigger and eventually produce more fruits. Some of those plants look rather small to be fruiting. There's no problem with it, I just like to beef mine up before letting them spend energy on fruiting.
>>1293921I'd say so, especially if you get some from a nursery that are already growing. It's not too late to start from seed, but don't expect your plants to be gigantic. They'll yield enough for yourself though, and you can overwinter them for next year to have them nice and bushy by then.
At the end of the day, seeds are cheap. The most expensive cultivars will run you $6 for a pack of 10. Assuming you have all the other supplies, there's not much to lose by trying. Best case scenario, you have pepper plants. Worst case, you don't, which is guaranteed if you don't try anyways.
