>>2785947>>2785980did you actually just zip yourself up into a waterproof body bag then complain you couldn't breathe?
Just to give some info about bivvys; mine is a gore-tex one too but it is british army surplus cost about £20, has a draw-string opening at the top and enough room to fit a pack inside as well, with the draw string fully pulled tight, it leaves an opening about 2 inches wide, enough to get some fresh air, I have weathered a storm in it.
>>2786067iirc he had a heavy duty sleeping bag with a lot of padding and if you are a light little twink you are more comfortable at night because your body weighs less and so puts less pressure on bony bits.
>>2786334>how do you and other anons manage to fall asleep at night in, I guess, sketchy areas.be very hidden or don't sleep in sketchy areas.
>Or just with sketchy sounds that freak you out.keep my axe at hand
>Or do they even freaky you out?yes but i mostly just rationalize them, they are usually mice or falling leaves, one time i kept hearing this weird thump, it was sheep headbutting each other in the middle of the night. worst was when an owl with a sore throat landed right on my ridge line and let out the most raucous horrific hoot I have ever heard in my life, like 2 feet away from me at about 2am. got up and walked around a bit to calm my nerves.
