>>1109174Well you're wrong if you think it's like that everywhere in the world. Where I live, eveything
>>1108300 described would be true. I was just thinking that atleast it's a perk of living where I do in Australia. I know there are hunting licenses in some states but in Queensland there is no public land hunting so all hunting is done on private land on pest animals (which include deer, pigs, goats, wild dogs, rabbits etc). There is no hunting license, you just need to have a weapons license if you're shooting and the land owners permission. Regs say that recreational shooting/hunting must be done on land "generally atleast 40 acres", so that number isn't hard and fast either.
You need permits/tags to hunt monopods (Kangaroos, Wallabies etc) but every other animal you'd traditionally hunt is considered a pest and is fair game.
Alot of our laws and nanny state regulation we suffer are pretty fucked but the amount of hunting regulations the the Americans in these threads describe is fucking horrifying. We have no fishing licenses in QLD either. You can get in trouble for breaching bag limits or catching female crabs etc but it's your own responsibility to be abreast of the rules, as opposed to being forced to sit through some bullshit course.
