>>1896804I've slowly been converting a 2007 Camry into somewhat of a Mad Max sort survival car, less for overlanding and more for being able to travel anywhere in the states I want without having to cough up cash for a shitty motel. So far I've removed the back seats and put in a double mattress that extends into the trunk, with whatever room not taken up by the mattress lined with water/supplies/rifle rack/Jerry can/other equipment, put some capable roof racks on top with extra racks for my skis and space up there for one more thing, and a fairing so that it doesn't kill my gas mileage.
It's okay so far, but I'd like to make it more capable of overlanding. I'm considering raising the suspension and throwing off-road tires on it, but I can't really think of anything else. Any ideas?
